It is with the heaviest hearts—and the deepest gratitude—that we share that our sweet French Bulldog Bronson who has been the spirit of our store for the past ten and a half years, has passed away after a sudden illness with pneumonia.
For a decade, he wasn’t just a dog.
He was our greeter, our comedian, our gentle guardian, our comfort on hard days, and our joy on good ones.
He grew up inside these walls, and in doing so, he helped build this place into a family.
People came from near and far just to see him. Many of you watched him grow up here, nap in his favorite stroller, lay on the counter near the register, laying by the front door, posing for a picture, rolling on his back for belly rubs and playing with his favorite red teaser ball or give that signature “I run this place” side-eye.
He loved every single moment of being part of your lives, and he loved every single one of you.
We are devastated—but also so proud.
Proud of the life he lived.
Proud of the happiness he created.
Proud that this small, wrinkly, adorable soul made such a big impact on so many hearts.
Thank you to everyone who loved him, visited him, spoiled him, and treated him like the celebrity he was. Your kindness shaped his world.
Though our store feels quieter now, his spirit will always be here—curled up in his bed behind the counter, laying on the big leopard bench and living on in the countless memories he gave us.
Rest easy, sweet boy.
You were truly one of a kind.
And you will forever be a part of us.
You were my soulmate Smushy!
